Ao conhecer a extrema pobreza e a ignorância de muitas crianças e jovens, assim como a exploração feminina das fábricas deixou o seu conforto e para as promover, educar e defender, e assim, fundou varias instituições instituições que beneficiaram imensas mulheres, crianças e suas familias.
