Red lionfish is an invasive species which is taking control over the Caribbean and the Mediterranean Sea where they have not natural predators. Their numbers are unstoppable and our best way to fight is eating them. Lionfish are difficult to find in fishmongers nowadays but if you once see it in a supermarket or restaurant menu, give it a try! The flavour is delicious.
